On behalf of Severn Trent, we established the root cause of several recurring blockages in one specific area. Our investigations led us to a food service establishment that was repeatedly discharging fats, oils, and grease (FOG) into the sewers.
After exhausting all attempts to engage with the food business owner and encourage them to install grease-trapping equipment, we were asked to help build a case for legal prosecution.
Legal action is usually the last resort and the decision to prosecute is always made by our clients. We worked on this case from start to finish. From engagement and education, right through to enforcement – by producing sufficient evidence to support a successful prosecution.
